Hurricane Season is winding down, and we can all say good riddance to some of the epic storms that battered the United States and the Caribbean this year. A lot of us have resumed regularly scheduled programming, but there are still a lot of people reeling from the damage caused by these strong storms. Let’s not forget the devastation that whole communities experienced, and help others prepare for next year by sharing success stories. The common denominator of these success stories are the structures people took shelter in. Many felt safe and protected from what was happening outside their walls by hunkering down inside of a house or building that was built with concrete block which can withstand winds of up to 250 mph and is airtight to keep water out.
Share your hurricane stories with us for a chance to be featured in our upcoming campaign. Tell us where you were, and don’t forget to include any pictures and videos that add to your story!
We were in concrete block, where were you?
